Living History Park, North Augusta
The barn at the Living History Park in North Augusta was designed to fit into a 19th century theme. This site was an old dumping ground
until the Olde Towne
Preservation Association took on the project of redeveloping the site into a unique and peaceful
setting for annual events.
Living History Park
299 W. Spring Grove Ave., 803-279-7560. The park is the setting for concerts, picnics, recreation activities, weddings, community events, historical demonstrations, living history encampments, and six annual events. Several structures are on-site; meeting house, barn, tavern, slave cabin, cabinet shop, blacksmith, smokehouse, and mercantile. The park is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and is a SC National Heritage Corridor Site.
