The North Augusta Arts and Heritage Center is a beautiful 7,500 sq.ft. facility located inside the North Augusta Municipal Center. The Heritage Center is dedicated to the exhibition of regional arts and history with exhibits rotating every three months. On site is a gift shop that showcases local, handmade crafts. Located on the campus of the University of South Carolina-Aiken, The Ruth Patrick Science Center (RPSC) is cooperative effort by the University of South Carolina Aiken, local industry, and area public school districts. RPSC is a permanent program for enhancing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in the elementary, middle and high schools of the area. Its hands-on approach to teaching is designed to help people experience the beauty, the order and the power of science and mathematics, as well as the interest and fun of discovery.
