Artist Talk with Keith Tolen: Columbia based studio and teaching artist, Keith Tolen, brings a lifetime of experience to his exhibition where he explores using dots as the dominate paint stroke technique in “Conversation with a Dot”. Along with his professional art career in the areas of illustration, photography and painting, teaching art has always been and continues to be a major part of his life. He has taught art for after school and gifted and talented programs and has been a teaching artist for South Carolina Arts Access for almost twenty years.
