Come out and learn the fundamentals of kayaking in a comfortable setting at Aiken State Park. This ranger-led class will teach you basic paddling skills such as water safety and paddle strokes in order to be safe and have fun on the water.

Price is $25 per person. Registration and payment must be made in advance. Class size is limited, so register early. Aiken State Park will provide a single kayak, PFD, and paddle. Participants must be at least 8 years old and know how to swim.

Program Dates: August 26th from 2 – 3:30pm, September 30th from 2 – 3:30pm, October 21st from 2 – 3:30pm
Meeting place: Cabin Lake parking lot
What to bring: Sunscreen, water, bug spray, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes that won’t fall off.
