“Bach to Brasil” presented by The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet

For over four decades on the concert stage, the Grammy® Award-winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet has been recognized as one of America’s premier instrumental ensembles, known for their tradition of embracing music from around the globe and across the centuries. Their critically acclaimed transcriptions of concert masterworks provide a fresh look at the music of the past, while their interpretations of works from the contemporary continually break new ground.

With more than a dozen recordings over the past two decades, members John Dearman, Matthew Greif, William Kanengiser, and newest member Douglas Lora have established themselves as masters of the classics. In Bach to Brasil, the group will perform works by Jobim and Villa-Lobos, leading up to Bach, Beethoven, and Copland.
