WHAT TO EXPECT:
Leaving from the North Augusta Public Boat Ramp, we venture upstream to see the rapids which is the natural barrier that separates Georgia’s Piedmont and Coastal Plains geographical regions, creating the last elevation drop on the Savannah River before hitting the Atlantic Ocean. Along the way we will see lots of wildlife in the air and water, we’ll explore the historical Rae’s Creek Aqueduct Park and be able to cool off at the sandbar.
