The 4th Annual Thanksgiving Story Time at Rye Patch is a great event for young readers to learn the importance of being thankful through stories about friends, family and loved ones.

The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department will host Thanksgiving Story Time on Tuesday, November 14, at 4:00 PM on the lawn of Rye Patch, 100 Berrie Road SW.

Children ages 8 and under can enjoy Thanksgiving-themed stories read by Betty Ryberg. This event is free and open to the public. Every family in attendance will receive a book to take home to encourage a lifelong love of reading. In addition, complimentary snacks will be available. An adult must accompany all children.

In inclement weather, this event will be moved inside of Rye Patch.
