Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Saturday 8:30am-4:00pm
Gardens open daily from 10:00am-4:00pm
Beautiful private gardens await your visit to The Aiken Garden Show in historic Aiken, South Carolina on May 13th and 14th, 2022. Hop on the tour bus at Banksia, (the Aiken County Historical Museum and central Show site) or drive just a few miles, and discover uniquely beautiful gardens displaying both creativity of design and interesting combinations of plant selections for year-round interest. These tour gardens are well-kept Aiken secrets ranging from whimsical to formal, small to large. Members of the Aiken Camellia Society, Aiken and Augusta Orchid Society,  Rose Society, Day Lily Society, Aiken Master Gardeners, and SC Bluebird Society, will have information tables in various tour gardens to answer questions with their regional garden expertise!

Before the garden tours each day, enjoy our Featured Speakers in the Banksia Conference Room:

9:00 Friday: Gerald Stephens co-owner Nurseries Caroliniana
9:00 Saturday: Randy Collins, author

Before, between, and after your garden tours, check out our Vendors from across the Southeast with their abundance of home and garden wares, plants, garden art, apparel, and personal accessories. The Vendor Market is open 8:30 am until 5:00 pm on Friday and 8:30 am until 4:00 pm on Saturday on the grounds of Banksia.

Then head to the Parlor, relax, and “Smell the Roses” at the South Carolina Rose Society’s All-Arrangement Rose Show featuring hundreds of locally-grown roses in traditional, modern, and Oriental-style designs. This attraction starts at 1:00 pm Friday and runs through 4 pm Saturday.

A lunch catered by Newberry Hall will be available in the Conference Room from 10:00 – 2:00. Find details on the Activities page.

Two-day tickets are available in advance for $25.00 and on tour days for $30.00. Sponsored by the Aiken Garden Club Council, a 501(c) 3 educational organization, proceeds from the show fund garden-related projects for local non-profits and the maintenance of Council’s historic Dollhouse headquarters in Hopelands Gardens, one of Aiken’s garden gems. For ticket information, go to the Tickets page. Plan to stay the weekend in Aiken. During the days, you can make one visit to each of the gardens, browse the Vendor Market, learn from, and be inspired by, the Speakers, stimulate your senses at the Rose Show, and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Banksia Bistro. You may also visit the Museum displays and Hopelands Gardens, just a 5-minute drive from the Museum. Go to the Activities page for lodging information and after-hours happenings in Aiken.
