Windsor Trace Continuous Drive
Windsor Trace Winter Continuous Drive for Combined Driving or Pleasure Driving
February 19, 2025 (Rain Date – February 20)
This will be a “fun” yet educational practice for Combined Driving and Pleasure Driving in a different format, yet loosely following ADS rules. This is a fund raiser for the Windsor Trace CDE in the Fall.
Combined Driving is an equestrian sport that has horses/ponies (single ,pair or four-in hand ) pulling a carriage and controlled by a driver on the vehicle. It is an event with three phases that tests the harmony of the horse(s) and driver in Dressage (Obedience), Marathon (obedience and speed) and Cones (obedience, rhythm and moderate speed). It is equivalent to the equestrian discipline of Three-day Eventing or similar to a human triathlon.
Spectators are welcome.
No food available on the grounds / No port-a-potties.
